Thursday 3rd June

First Rockley Park day. Took ages to go to sleep last night ‘cos of chatting with Genie. We’ve got this room like a cabin on a ship with bunk beds, it even has two portholes to look out of and we can see the sea!

Today we went on a trip to a place called Sandbanks which is where all the richies live (think Annie’s dad used to have a house here once.)Then we went on a ferry across the harbour to a beach called Studland Bay. Had loads to carry ‘cos Nan brought a chair and a beach umbrella and a windbreak and a cool bag with some white wine!

AND an excellent picnic we all made together before we left – big crusty baguette loaves with local ham and fruit and crisps and LOTS of fruit drinks and water.

We swam three times and made a (kind of) Hogwarts sand castle. Was OK but fell down!

I’m still all sandy!
