JUST got back from Rockley Park... sorting out stuff for school tomorrow but must do Diary...

Had a go on a rowing boat on the boating lake in Poole today... kept doing this thing called “catching a crab” which means you think you've put your oar in the water, only you haven't! Then you fall over in the boat and get wet 'cos there's water in the bottom, grrr! Got better after a bit but THEN we kept going round in circles!!

Funny 'cos there were some Sea Cadets taking boats out too, they made it look really easy. After a bit they were called in by this man with a peaked cap and a very loud voice and they made a kind of line and marched away, very together! Some of them were girls who had their hair in a bun... don't think I'd like that but looks like being a Sea Cadet might be real fun.

Must finish unpacking!
