Getting really interested in urban foxes after the one we saw yesterday… hope he’s all right. Looked that disease up on the net, the one called mange, pets can catch it too. It looks AWFUL but you can put down medicine in some food if you see a fox that’s got it.

It MIGHT be he wasn’t ill though. They kind of change their coat every year, they start doing that in April and it goes on through the summer. They get big grey patches on them and they look very thin. And NOT very neat like they usually do! They can look like that all summer till their nice red fur comes back in September, or maybe October.

Hope he wasn’t ill ‘cos if he is then he can give it to dogs and cats and they die too, and it’s a really horrible illness. Would be better really if they’d never come in towns!
