DOT'S DIARIES 2010

Monday 21st June

Mrs Rudman did Rev. Nigel’s world cup prayer today in Assembly – she read it really well, she’s good at doing stuff like that, lots of spaces so you can really understand what she’s saying.

Good ‘cos you could tell it’s about life and not just all about football, which is I think what Revs. should do or anyone who’s a religious leader. Rabina who’s very good at football and who’s a Muslim said the thoughts could easily be used in her prayer time too!

A Bishop also did a prayer but I don’t think it’s ANYTHING like as good as Rev. Nigel’s. The Bishop’s goes: "God, who played the cosmos (that means everything, earth and space and planets etc) into being, please help England rediscover their legs, their eyes and their hunger: that they might run more clearly, pass more nearly and enjoy the game more dearly. Amen."

But that’s just about FOOTBALL, not life! Scoreline Rev. Nigel 1, Bishop 0!!
