Tuesday 22nd June

Dad’s been banned from the living room ‘cos of Wimbledon! Mum loves watching it, specially the programme that does everything that’s happened in the evening, but if Dad’s there he WILL keep talking and she misses stuff. So he’s got to watch the TV in their bedroom, can hear him there now watching ‘Gok’s Fashion Fix’ (! but doesn’t care about Greece v.Argentina!)

So funny though, he just can’t stop himself, he keeps saying stuff like “Why can’t that bloke get a shave?” and “That dress is miles too tight for her” and “I wonder what the ball boys and girls think about…?” and “The umpire looks a bit like David at work” etc etc etc till Mum throws a cushion at him!

She can take it for a bit but then she just loses it. Specially if he goes to sleep on the sofa and starts snoring. Then he gets sent out to do the washing up, totally right anyway!!
