DOT'S DIARIES 2010

Tuesday 29th June

We had a card today from the Barnyard Theatre - it said ‘Why not become a Barnyard Backer and join our club? All welcome!” then it said what you could do, there are dance groups, and impro theatre groups and a recording studio and they even organize synchronized swimming classes for mums!!

Their next show is an open-air one in the park next to the theatre, it’s called ‘A Midsummer Day’s Dream’ and it’s from Shakespeare only “in Barnyard style”. Mmmm… Shakespeare’s SO hard to understand!!

Didn’t finish about their show… whenever the baddies tried to start knocking down the magic castle to build a motorway, a nursery rhyme character would come and stop them. So Jack and Jill knocked the baddies down the hill, and the Queen of Hearts made some tarts that sent them all to sleep, and Humpty Dumpty fell on them from his wall and squashed them!

Bit like what happened to the baddies in ‘Home Alone’!
