Didn’t finish about Craigalvon… think one of my faves was kayaking. It’s REALLY wobbly at first, you get in this little seat and it feels like you’re going to tip over but when you get your bum in the middle it’s OK, bit like learning to ride a bike. We had to wear lifejackets and a helmet too which was a bit hot but we couldn’t take them off.

We all went out together, there were 15 of us in two groups each and we had four Teamsters with us to look after us. We went down this old canal that used to be all full of weeds and overgrown and with trees nearly making it into a kind of water tunnel. It was all cleared up by people working on their holidays and weekends. It’s called the Pittston and Carthouse Navigation and it was built two hundred years ago.

Anyway what we had to look out for were… oops bedtime!
