Mum and I have been practising our French for our holiday, it was OK except we kept laughing at each other’s accents!! Mum had this tape she used before but it took us AGES to find our audio cassette player, haven’t used it forever. In the end we found it at the back of the kitchen cupboard. ?????

It had lots of phrases which were kind of durrr, like “J’aime les Beatles, aimez-vous leur disques?” (“I like the Beatles, do you like their records?”) and “Je crois que les Rolling Stones sont un peu fous” (“I think that the Rolling Stones are a bit crazy.”)

Never even HEARD the Rolling Stones so THAT meant Mum had to go and get out their records and play them and THAT meant getting all the dust off the old record player in the front room.

Actually thought they were pretty cool. Liked ‘Jumping Jack Flash’ specially!!

Didn’t learn much French but it was fun!!
