Monday 16th August

BRILL holiday at our “Jeet” (actually it’s spelt “Gite”) in France. Had a totally MEGA time!

Got back late last night, just flopped in bed so we’re still unpacking. Dad’s doing his FOURTH wash ‘cos though we did washing there, still seems to be LOADS to do. Mum’s putting everything else away. Nearly finished my unpacking but doing Diary early ‘cos SO much to tell!

First we had a panic after we left ‘cos Mum couldn’t find all our tickets and passports and we’d miss the ferry if we went back. Double oh nooooooo! BUT then she found them, she’d put them in a special hidden pocket in her new bag that she’d forgotten about. Stopped and had coffees to get over panic mode!

Drove to Portsmouth, took AGES but when we got there and saw the ship it was great. She was all lit up even though it wasn’t dark and looked huge. We had… Mum coming, must finish unpacking!
