Wednesday 18th August

Just been looking at my holiday pictures – got some ex-ce-llent ones of the gite and this donkey we met called Gaston who didn’t go “Ee-HAW” like most donkeys, he went “HAW- ee” instead! Also he wore a straw hat with holes in for his ears…the hatband had a little message stitched on it saying “Baisez-Moi Vite” (which means “Kiss me quickly” (!) in French.)

Didn’t try that!!

Got some good pix on board the Bretagne our ferry too. Leaving Portsmouth with all the lights coming on, and when we came into St Malo in France very early! Also of Dad asleep in his chair at the bar with Buzz Lightyear on his head!

Put that there after we got it after seeing ‘Toy Story 3’ which was GREAT but made Mum cry (and Dad too only he pretended not.) Then we went to sleep in our cabin and woke up and had a French breakfast, hot crusty bread and jam, der-licious!
